IROC offers many volunteer opportunities for those would like to help welcome our immigrant and refugee neighbors. Click here to sign up and tell us more about the programs you would like to be involved in. Below are some examples of the ways you can help IROC and the families we serve.

Join our New Neighbor Program

There is no more rewarding experience than helping a family become acquainted with their new home. The commitment can be as simple as a few deliveries of basic essentials, or the beginning of a life-long connection. It is up to you. You may work as team with your family, friends and neighbors. Email info@irocenter.org to be assigned a family.

Please note that all volunteers for this program will be required to complete an on-line background check before being assigned a family.

Organize Your Own Fundraiser

Make the most of your celebration, whether it is a birthday, a wedding, anniversary or baby shower, by dedicating your special day to support your new immigrant and refugee neighbors. Encourage your family and friends to help you collect donations instead of gifts, and dedicate them to your special day or in recognition of a special person using the IROC donation form.

All contributions to IROC are tax-deductible.

Help with Distributions and Donations

Whether it’s clothing, toys, bikes, or groceries, IROC regularly supports our neighbors by distributing items they need. Help us organize our “family shopping day” events, when families are invited to chose items from an assortment of donated items at no charge.

Go Shopping!

IROC also has an Amazon Wishlist full of items that our families are regularly asking for. Items purchased from this list will be distributed by our team to our families who are most in need.
